“आयुर्वेदोऽमृतानाम्”

Ayurveda means literally the 'science of longevity’; because of its divine origins it can be called 'Medicine of the Gods'. Ayurveda cures the root problem, not just symptoms. The holistic medicine aims to restore health by understanding the underlying causes of the diseases. It strives to attack the root causes and detoxifying, cleansing, strengthening body tissues (dhatus) and balancing bodily doshas, ensuring complete cure.

Ayurveda College Coimbatore is one of the oldest and well- established Ayurveda colleges in South India. It was started in the year 1978 at Patanjalipuri, Mankarai, Coimbatore, by Arya Vaidyan P.V Ramavarier with the intension of spreading Ayurveda to all.

Most of the ayurvedic practitioners working in India as well as abroad are proud alumini of our esteemed institutions. From the year 2000, Ayurveda College Coimbatore is functioning under the Arya Vaidyan Rama Varier Educational Foundation Of Ayurveda managed in association with RVS Educational Trust , Sulur . Ayurveda College Coimbatore is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University Chennai & Recognised by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine, New Delhi. At present, the college is situated in a lush green eco-friendly campus in Sulur under the able leadership of Managing Trustee Dr. K. Senthil Ganesh and managed by our beloved Principal Dr. P. Chandramouleeswaran.
