Panchakarma is a comprehensive system of knowledge and practices to purify the body from cumulative body toxins and restore it to balance with natural law.Panchakarma literally means five methods of body purification and deals with Purification therapies of Ayurveda and provides a basic understanding of the principles of Pancha Shodhana (Bio- Purifaction methods). These five therapeutic means of eliminating toxins from the body are Vamana, Virechana, Nasya, Basti (Sneha basti and Kashaya basti)and Raktamoskshana. This series of five therapies help remove deep-rooted stress and illness causing toxins from the body while balancing the doshas (factors that govern all biological functions).
This department consists of prepared charts and models and seperate practical rooms for easy theoretical understanding of procedures for students. Students are trained to perform various Panchakarma procedures which are first taught by experts and later allowed to have hand own experience.
